BZ's proudly offers GLUTEN-FREE PIZZA!
Every effort has been taken to prepare your pizza gluten free. Our gluten pizza crust is made locally by a local gluten free bakery. We prepare the gluten free pizza in a separate area of the kitchen and our staff had been trained regarding cross contact. Because our facility also prepares items containing gluten, please know that it is your decision whether to purchase and consume the pizza at your own risk. Because this is a special item, please understand that it may take extra time to prepare. Gluten-Free Pizza Pizza - both takeout and in the pizzeria - is back on the menu for Cape Codders who must eat a gluten-free diet. BZ's Pizza & Mexican in Dennisport and Good Juju Bakery 508-737-0487 or www.goodjujubakery.com ) have joined forces to make it happen. "We have created a special section of the kitchen where we will prepare the gluten-free pizza, to avoid contact with wheat-containing items," says BZ's owner, Roger Balestri, who has customers with the diet restriction and is familiar with how items must be prepared to minimize the possibility of contact with menu items that do contain gluten. With this special area and the use of Good Juju Bakery's gluten-free pizza crusts, Balestri says he can reduce risks of gluten cross contamination. "Cross-contact is, of course, a possibility due to the fact that most of our items do contain gluten, so we ask that our gluten-free clients enjoy (the gluten-free pizza) at their own risk." BZ's offers gluten-free pizza on its daily menu. Call 508-394-6247 for details. It has a "Gluten-Free Pizza Night" every Monday at the pizzeria, at 682 Main Street. "There is a great sense of feeling `normal` when you can sit down in a restaurant (and) can order a gluten-free meal," says Judith Mann, owner of Good Juju Bakery. "I feel confident about this collaboration."
